What is the difference between a B4 and B6 armoured sedan?
A B4-rated armoured sedan is certified to withstand fire from high-powered handguns, including .44 Magnum rounds. A B6 build is tested against assault rifle calibres, specifically 7.62×51mm NATO. Does armouring a sedan affect its appearance?
No. AAT ArmourTech’s sedan builds are specifically engineered to retain the factory exterior appearance. Ballistic glass panels are matched to OEM glass dimensions and tint levels, and body panels are restored to original factory finish after structural work. An armoured sedan built by AAT is visually indistinguishable from its unmodified counterpart.
Can I bring my own vehicle for armouring?
Yes. We accept client-supplied vehicles for armouring provided they meet our structural assessment criteria. How long does it take to armour a sedan?
A standard sedan build takes between 4 and 6 weeks from vehicle intake to delivery, depending on the protection level specified and the optional enhancements included. Builds requiring blast liners or integrated electronic systems may require additional time. We will confirm a delivery timeline at the point of order.

Yes. All vehicles are built to EN 1063 (transparent armour) and CEN 1522 (ballistic steel) certification standards.
